GMB guest pulls out of interview last minute for sad reason as host 'sends our love'
Good Morning Britain hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were due to speak to Boyzlife's Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy on Friday's show
Good Morning Britain announced that guest Keith Duffy had to withdraw from his scheduled interview on Friday's episode due to a tragic circumstance.
During the recent episode, presenters Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins were set to chat with Boyzlife's Brian McFadden and Keith, 50, about their latest single.
However, Brian, 45, ended up doing the interview alone as host Charlotte, 49, shared the sad reason for Keith's absence.
Charlotte stated: "Well, Brian McFadden joins us now, good morning to you, and Keith was going to be here but we know he's just had a bereavement so he's not with us today."
Brian clarified: "Yes he was, he's lost one of his friends, so he's gone back to Ireland" to which Charlotte responded: "I'm sorry, sending our love in that case!" Keith has yet to comment on the unfortunate news himself.
Westlife's Brian and Boyzone's Keith have teamed up to form Boyzlife, continuing to thrill fans on tour and releasing their new single Save The Day on Friday 25 April, a tribute to unsung heroes who are always there when needed most, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Boyzlife's official Instagram account shared news of their new single on Friday. Accompanied by a snippet of the AI-animated music video, they wrote: "OUT NOW "Save The Day"..
"A powerful tribute to hope, bravery & the everyday heroes all around us. True heroes are closer than we think. Let this song be your reminder.
"Our groundbreaking video is brought to life entirely through AI animation, showcasing the future of creative storytelling. Enjoy" with a heart emoji.
The ensemble's loyal base of 339K followers swiftly chimed in with their thoughts on the group's new song and accompanying video. One fan expressed their awe: "It's absolutely fantastic unreal", while another showed adoration commenting: "Love this song so much" accompanied by heart eye emojis.
Someone else shared their personal enthusiasm, saying: "I really like the new song, I feel like it's going to be one of my favorites. Congratulations to the boys, they did an amazing job."
In other interactions, a response read: "Beautiful song and so true", another supporter reflected a more personal touch: "My daughter is training to be a nurse for the NHS. Love the music and the video" while a different admirer conveyed sheer enjoyment stating: "I enjoyed listening I love it! Thank you lads!" followed with a heart emoji.
Brian, formerly of legendary boyband Westlife from 1998 to 2004, carved a solo path post-departure before creating Boyzlife in 2016.
Keith's journey included his time with renowned boyband Boyzone which started in 1993 before branching off into individual endeavours in 2000.
He took a stride into acting with a role as Ciaran McCarthy on Coronation Street from 2002 to 2011 and eventually teamed up with Brian to form Boyzlife in 2016.
