Super Eagles and Lazio midfielder, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, has revealed his preferred role in the middle of the park when called into action, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Manchester City Academy graduate joined the Eagles last summer, but is yet to nail down a starting berth in a particular position, largely due to the injuries that have hindered his performances.
Former Italy striker, Bruno Giordano, advised Lazio head coach, Marco Baroni, about Dele-Bashiru’s best position, revealing the 24-year-old should only play as a midfielder for emergency purposes.

“My idea of Italian football? It’s a lot more tactically demanding than some other leagues, and that’s a challenge I’m relishing at the moment.”
“My preferred role would be as a box-to-box midfielder, in the number 8 or 10 positions. I like driving the ball, running off the ball, I can attack well, and defend well, also.
“All around, I’m what you describe as a box-to-box midfielder. And as long as I’m 100% fit and I’ve gotten everything understood tactically, we definitely would have a very good season together,” Dele-Bashiru said in an interview with Sports Boom.
