Boots slashes £22 'skinny tan' to £10 that 'looks natural' with 'no streaks'
You've got 24 hours to snap up the saving
With the gorgeous spring sunshine looking like it's here to stay for the next few weeks, Boots shoppers have been racing to buy a reduced fake tan that was originally priced at £22, down to £10. For those who struggle to maintain a tan during the summer months, self tan offers a safe and easy way to look bronzed.
This particular bottle of Skinny Tan Mousse 150ml was originally priced at £21.99, and has been reduced as part of Boots' £10 Tuesday which happens on a weekly basis. The huge sale lasts for 24 hours only, reducing a number of big brands to £10.
Described as 'streak free' by fans, the product has an 'organic coconut' scent and is also vegan. The mousse has been described as 'trending' on the £10 Tuesday promotion.

On the Boots website, the full product description reads: "Skinny Tan Mousse combines not one but two base certified natural tanning agents plus organic coconut for a delicious scent, organic Aloe Vera to help moisturise and of course the most popular cellulite active caffeine from naturally sourced Guarana Berries."
It continues: "Our classic colour in a light and fluffy Mousse formulation is Skinny Tan's most popular product and of course the unique Skinny Tan technology means you never, ever streak and your tan will fade as evenly as it applies without patchiness. No Streaks, No nasty Smell and definitely No Orange! Skinny Tan is always streak-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free and suitable for Vegans."
To apply, exfoliate your skin in the shower and lightly moisturise any dry areas including hands, feet, knees, elbows and ankles. Then apply the mousse directly onto the skin with a roller or a mitt, and make sure everywhere is covered for an even look.
Shoppers have been praising the tan for giving a 'natural' look which is just what you want in a self tan. In the reviews, one shopper said: "This is by far the best fake tan I’ve ever bought, it doesn’t have a horrible smell & it’s really natural looking."
A second glowing review read: "I actually really love this! I’m fair and like a natural tan. It smells good and is so easy to apply. No streaks and I really love the colour! Not too dark. Just right for me and fades well."
A third shopper chimed in: "Best fake tan I have used. Goes on great with the skinny tan mitt and no streaks when you rinse the next morning. Don’t use soap or shower gel when rinsing, as this causes streaks!"
However, not all shoppers were convinced with the tan in the reviews section. One shopper claimed that the tan didn't fade well, which was reflected in a review which read: "I saw this on my social media account and was tempted to try it. It applied nicely, and the colour was lovely, dark and realistic, but after a day it started to fade. It faded horrible, leaving my skin streaky, patchy and orange. I really wish it lasted longer and faded better, because it’s a lovely colour. I always exfoliate and moisturise dry areas, so I know it’s not a prepping fault causing this. I’ll stick to St. Moritz tan."
If you like the sound of this tan, you've got until midnight tonight to snap it up for £10.
