Wife of rugby league star who went 'missing' reveals he has returned home in heartfelt post
The wife of missing rugby star Brandon Moore has confirmed he is 'finally safe and found' after issuing a heartfelt plea for help after he went missing on Friday night.
The Batley Bulldogs player, 28, is 'in safe hands', wife Mara Moore said in a Facebook post on Saturday evening.
'Thank you to everyone that shared, we actually found him through the power of Facebook...So thank you to everyone that's helped me!!', she added.
The father-of-three, who lives in Castleford in West Yorkshire, had been named in the squad for today's Championship match against Toulouse Olympique, but had remained absent.
Mara had taken to social media earlier today to ask for help in tracing her husband, who had not been seen since yesterday.
She wrote on a Facebook post: 'Please share. If anyone has seen Brandon Moore can you please message me?
'I usually wouldn't ever post anything on here like this, but family and friends haven't seen or heard of him and hoping maybe someone's seen sightings of him and can message me?
'I have a 7 week old baby at home and 2 others so I can't go hunting myself other than a car ride.'

She added that police had been contacted.
The original Facebook post was shared over 2,700 times, while concerned followers took to the comments hoping for his safe return.
'How worrying for you, hope it's something of nothing and he's home soon,' one well-wisher wrote.
'Hope he is found safe and well,' another said.
Commenting on Moore's disappearance, MP for Dewsbury and Batley Iqbal Mohamed said on X: 'I am sad to learn that Batley Bulldogs star Brandon Moore is missing. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts, please contact the police.'
Moore, a hooker for Batley Bulldogs, formerly played for eight years at Halifax Panthers.
The rugby player made his professional debut in 2016 with Halifax and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club.
Moore previously spoke of his connection with Halifax, telling Yorkshire Live: 'Along the years I've met some top blokes who've made my time at the club and I've made some special bonds that are life long.

'Even though I'm not a Halifax lad, I always knew how much rugby league meant to the town and it was always an honour to captain the side.'
He joined his current team, in the RFL Championship, last January.
