Having missed out on the Scottish Premiership title once again, Rangers are set for a summer of change after deciding to move on from Barry Ferguson in lieu of appointing a permanent head coach.
Ferguson took charge back in February when the club parted ways with Philippe Clement, but after he failed to drastically change the team's fortunes, the Gers' search saw them settle on former Southampton manager Russell Martin.
The 39-year-old has some experience of Ibrox from a loan spell during his playing days, and he will be keen to make a stronger impression this time around after his reputation took a hit when he was sacked by Saints, who struggled in the Premier League.
With the club's sights set on a first league crown since 2020-21, they have been busy in the market already, signing a number of players that they hope will be pivotal as they try to close the gap to rivals Celtic in the upcoming campaign.
