Leicester City fans endured a dire Premier League campaign in 2024-25, and they will be hoping that their summer business can propel them to an instant promotion from the Championship next term.
Adding to fans woes was the fact that legendary striker Jamie Vardy called time on his 13-year stint at the King Power Stadium, though he did fire in an undeniably impressive 200 goals across 500 appearances for the Foxes.
Before embarking on their top-flight season, second-tier winning manager Enzo Maresca departed for Chelsea and was replaced by former Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper.
However, with the club in disarray amidst talk of a falling out between the players and the head-coach, Cooper was sacked and Ruud van Nistelrooy took charge, only to lead the team to relegation while also becoming the first side in the history of English football's top four tiers to lose eight consecutive home league games without scoring.
Van Nistelrooy himself has since been deposed, and with the likes of Sean Dyche linked with the vacancy, it would be fair to say that whoever comes in will be keen to recruit strongly according to their vision.
