Our Yorkshire Farm's Reuben Owen is utterly smitten with his girlfriend, Jessica Ellwood, declaring her to be "the one" following a whirlwind eight-month romance.
At only 21, he's treading a path similar to that of his renowned parents and making a mark as the lead in his own farm-based show, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, currently gracing screens on Channel 5.
His recent solo endeavour has also introduced Jessica, who is also aged 21, to viewers, confirming to loyal fans the pair's deepening commitment over recent months.
Delving deeper in a talk with the Mail Online, Reuben revealed progression in their relationship, noting Jess has been warmly embraced by his family, including his well-known parents Amanda and Clive Owen.
The farmer shared his relatives' fondness for Jess, stating to the publication: "Everything is great. They get on with her and we all get on," reports Leeds Live.

Queried about whether Jess was "the one," the television personality heartily confirmed: "Yeah definitely. It was a no brainer when I met Jess," and went on to add: "We have been together for around eight months now. She is brilliant, a really smiley character and we get on well."
Reuben, Channel 5's shining star, had no doubts from the start that Jess would be his match, admitting he was won over by her joyful demeanor. He remarked: "Right from the moment I met her, she was so happy. Jess is great, she takes everything in her stride."

In the same conversation, Reuben confirmed that he has no aspirations to have a large family like his well-known parents, due to concerns he might "lose a child".
Back in 2022, Reuben's famous parents, Amanda and Clive, surprised their fans by announcing their decision to part ways after 22 years of marriage, during which they raised nine children and ran a farm together.

Despite their separation, the television pair continue to work amicably side-by-side on a new project and TV show, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, with Channel 4. The programme brings the entire family together to assist with an ambitious farm renovation.
Discussing his parents' marital split, Reuben told the Mail Online: "They split up but that's life. They still get on great and it works. I don't mind what they do as long as they are both happy."
His own series follows the aspiring young farmer as he tries to establish his own digger business, which has been a massive hit with numerous Channel 5 viewers.
Despite his newfound fame, Reuben is firm in his belief that a life in the limelight is not for him, and he has no plans to venture into reality TV in the future.
Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales airs every Tuesday on 5 at 8pm.
