Dublin will take on Limerick in an All-Ireland quarter-final after trouncing Kildare at St Conleth's Park.
The Lilywhites were back in the Liam MacCarthy competition thanks to their thrilling success in the Joe McDonagh Cup last weekend.
But despite great home support, Kildare could not muster a charge against a Dublin side that finished third in the Leinster Championship.
An early goal from Brian Hayes set Dublin on their way and kept capitalising on Kildare's mistakes to extend their lead. Diarmuid Ó Dúlaing bagged Dublin's second goal as they held a 15-point half-time lead.
The match was effectively over at that point but Kildare, to their credit, kept battling and give the home crowd something to shout about.
In the end, Fergal Whitely put further gloss on the scoreboard by bagging Dublin's third goal to solidify their place in the last eight and book a meeting with Limerick.
