Clarkson's Farm star Jeremy Clarkson has had to give up one of his priciest bits of farm kit after confessing he took a hefty financial hit. The star, 65, realised it was time to be more sensible with money following some costly lessons.
Jeremy splashed out on a swanky Lamborghini tractor during the fourth instalment of the hit Prime Video series, forking out £85,000 for the beast flaunting its 48 gears and whopping 188 buttons.
However, not even a full year passed before he decided to put it up for auction. The tractor sold for £70,500, meaning Jeremy made a loss of at least £14,500, as reported by Hello!
Auction house Cheffins confirmed that it received 62 bids before someone snapped up the deal. Onlookers spotted Jeremy and his sparring partner from the show Kaleb Cooper hanging about the scene.

Kaleb's had a few run-ins with Jeremy over the tractor on the show, having previously warned that it might be too complicated to be useful on the farm.
A curious fan prodded Jeremy post-auction on social platform X, asking: "You had to let the beast go? No way? ! Dude, what happened?"
Without mincing his words, Clarkson shot back: "I'm starting to understand that when it comes to farming, you have to be sensible. Took a big financial hit on that tractor as well."
Jeremy has never dodged chatting about the financial reality of farming. In the first series, it came out that Diddly Squat Farm bagged him only £144 in year one.

Fans are left scratching their heads over how much money the farm actually pulls in.
One social media user quipped: "Having watched all the series, they're rather entertaining. However, don't try to convince me he makes more from farming than from Amazon Video."
Jeremy replied: "I could earn more from selling my toenail clippings than farming. And I have a dreadful feeling that this year will be worse than ever."

Despite his setbacks, Jeremy's overall net worth remains substantial. It's been suggested that Clarkson's Farm could have raked in as much as £200 million.
A significant portion of that revenue is thought to stem from Amazon, merchandise, books and related content. The latest series of Clarkson's Farm debuted with six fresh episodes.
The season follows Jeremy's highs and lows on his 1,000-acre farm in Oxfordshire, with storylines including pig farming, land disputes and the ongoing rivalry with Kaleb.
Clarkson's Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
