Traffic is building up on the M5 due to a broken down lorry, according to Inrix.

Currently, two lanes are closed due to recovery work and a broken down lorry on the M5 Northbound from J12 A430 (Quedgeley / Hardwicke) to J11A A417 (Gloucester / Cirencester).

National Highways says that the broken down vehicle is causing delays of 20 minutes, and is expected to clear between 18:15 and 18:30.

Traffic now cleared

Traffic on the M5 between J12 and J11A has now cleared, according to both Inrix and National Highways.

Recovery work has been completed and the broken down lorry has been removed.
