Jaco Pienaar to coach the Northampton Saints scrum

Northampton have appointed Jaco Pienaar as their new scrum coach.
The 42-year-old will arrive at Franklin’s Gardens this summer, replacing Matt Ferguson, who has enjoyed a successful seven-season stint as Saints’ scrum guru.
Pienaar was the forwards coach at the Sharks for four years before moving to Japan and spending two years at NEC Green Rockets and two years at Suntory Sungoliath.
Saints director of rugby Phil Dowson believes Pienaar can bring a new dimension to the club’s existing coaching group.
