Emmerdale's Bear Wolf, played by Joshua Richards, is set to stir up drama when he mysteriously disappears from the village next week.
In recent episodes of the popular ITV soap, Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) has been increasingly concerned about his father Bear's erratic behaviour.
Bear has been causing a nuisance by keeping Paddy and his wife Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) awake with his late-night television habits. He also carelessly left his sleeping tablets within reach of Eve, who luckily didn't ingest any.
While Bear seemed nonchalant about the incident, Paddy was understandably livid. Despite Bear proving to be a challenging houseguest, Paddy tried to appease him by gifting him an old motorbike to repair, reports Leicestershire Live.

However, in upcoming Emmerdale episodes, Paddy's patience wears thin when bike parts are scattered all over their home.
In a bid to keep Bear's clutter out of Tenant's Cottage, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) offers him the use of the car garage for his restoration project, much to Bear's delight.
But Bear's happiness quickly turns to rage when he loses his temper while working on the bike. In a fit of anger, he lashes out at mechanic Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), grabbing him by the jacket.
Fortunately, Paddy witnesses the altercation unfold.

Bear returns home later, acting as if the earlier altercation never happened, much to Paddy and Mandy's astonishment. The troubled pair begin to grill Bear about his recent blow-up, concerned that his behaviour is deteriorating, yet he dismisses them and goes upstairs.
Mandy convinces Paddy that he must tackle his concerns about his father directly. However, Paddy is taken aback when he discovers both Bear and his motorbike have vanished. The question on everyone's lips: where has Bear disappeared to?
Actor Joshua Richards recently teased some brewing turmoil for his soap character Bear due to unpredictable antics.
At a recent press event, he discussed Bear's condition: "He alters somewhat, he's not too good here (pointing to his head) for some reason which we don't know why.

"He's being slightly erratic emotionally and with his mood swings. There's periods of forgetfulness and the kind of things that happen with a man of his age."
Furthermore, Richards elaborated with: "There is a change there and there will be more of a stripped back Bear. Emotionally, he will be put through the ringer.
"And I'm really excited because it looks like there is something big coming up for him. Anyone who has the chance to work on this brilliant show knows how rewarding a meaty storyline can be."
Emmerdale airs weekdays on ITV and ITVX
