PSNI statement after report of collapsed roof at Belfast bar

The incident happened shortly after midnight last night

The PSNI has issued a statement after emergency services were tasked to the report of a collapsed roof in a Belfast bar.

It is reported that an incident took place at a premises in the Winecellar Entry area with emergency services attending the scene at around 12.10am on Sunday, June 15.


Videos on social media show the police, fire and ambulance service attending the scene.

Police have said there were no reports of any serious injuries.

In a statement to Belfast Live, a spokesperson said: "Police attended a report of a collapsed roof at premises in the Winecellar Entry area of Belfast city centre shortly before 12.10am today, Sunday 15th June.

"Colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Services and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries."
