Beer lovers will have more than 50 ales to choose from at a Leicester festival later this month. The three-day event will take place at Abbey Pumping Station.

The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) beer festival will offer real ales, vegan beers and a range of ciders in the grounds of the historic Corporation Road venue. Indoor seating will be provided alongside outdoor picnic tables and gazebos, with visitors encouraged to bring their own blankets and camping chairs.

The festival runs from Thursday, June 26 to Saturday, June 28, with multiple sessions available throughout each day. Afternoon sessions begin at 12 noon on the first two days, with the final day starting at 11am.

Evening sessions will start at 5.30pm on the opening days and 6pm on the final day, giving beer lovers multiple opportunities to attend throughout the weekend.

Organisers say CAMRA members will receive discounts on all sessions, with every ticket including a commemorative glass as part of the entry fee.The venue operates as a cashless event with all payments requiring card transactions on site.

Ticket prices start at £7 for some sessions, rising to £9.50 for others and must be booked online in advance through the Leicester Museums website. The Abbey Pumping Station shares its car park with the National Space Centre, with free parking available after 6pm.
