Music fans are buzzing with excitement over the "biggest up and comers" appearing in this year's Glastonbury Festival line-up. The iconic Worthy Farm event will play host to headliners like The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo on the Pyramid Stage, but it's not just the big names drawing attention – emerging talents across other stages are the talk among festival-goers.
Some seasoned fans are advising others to venture beyond the main stage to discover the music scene's future luminaries. A recent discussion on r/GlastonburyFestival Reddit page invited users to share their recommendations for must-see acts. A user asked the community: "Who are this year's biggest up and comers?" Responses flooded in, with a clear consensus forming around several acts garnering mass acclaim.
The most upvoted response saw the band Wunderhorse suggested by one music lover. Having supported Sam Fender during his UK tour at the tail end of last year, Jacob Slater's Wunderhorse has been riding a wave of momentum ever since.
In the thread, another user threw in their recommendation to catch Antony Szmierek perform, while another vouched for a prior set on the West Holts stage that evidently left a lasting impression.
They shared: "Saw him in the West Holts bar last year and it was a vibe. I've seen him a few times elsewhere, the mixing can sometimes be a bit hit or miss. Would recommend!".
Fat Dog also garnered praise within the subreddit with a fan saying they are "one of the best live acts" out there. The band has previously opened for Yard Act during their performance at Millennium Square in Leeds.
One user reminisced: "I saw them last year. They were one of the best live acts I've seen in a long time. Whole crowd jumping around as one... and they played at 13:00, while everyone was mostly sober."
Another festivalgoer highlighted four acts that could be big hits at this year's event. They wrote: "Rachel Chinouriri has already grown so much in the last year and I think she will continue to get bigger."

"I also think Alessi Rose will also start making headlines in the next couple of years, funny enough Rachel had the second slot on the other stage on Sunday last year so very similar to Alessi this year. And of course Westside Cowboy who won the emerging talent competition.
"Then there are people like CMAT who have been growing at a steady rate and Inhaler are doing well as well."
With CMAT's several mentions for her previous performances, another Glastonbury fan shared they were thrilled to see the star get a spot on the main stage.
They wrote: "I was really pleased to see CMAT is on the Pyramid stage this year. I saw her at Woodsies in 2023. She's great live. Really happy for her."
When it came to surprises in the lineup, one user expressed their astonishment regarding Lambrini Girls' billing.
They wrote: "I was certain Lambrini Girls would be in a higher spot, after playing three (?) times last year and their album release I feel like they've blown up, but maybe I'm just in a bubble and they're more niche than I thought."
