Leeds United are nearing their second new addition of the summer transfer window with centre-back, Jaka Bijol, closing in on a move to Elland Road.

Talks with Udinese over a transfer are understood to have been completed with the player undergoing a medical and completing the formalities of a switch. It is expected that the deal will cost more than £17million.

Once his move is finalised, Bijol will become the second new signing of the summer window, following the arrival of Lukas Nmecha, who will join on a free transfer at the start of next month.

The Whites are looking to add at least five key players in the current window as they prepare for life back in the Premier League. He will join Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Pascal Stuijk and Max Wober as the centre-back options, although Wober is expected to leave the club before the end of the window.

Bijol could make his debut for Leeds during pre-season - as matches against Manchester United (19 July), Villarreal (2 August) and AC Milan (9 August) have been confirmed. Leeds will then kick-off their Premier League campaign at home against Everton on Monday 18 August (8pm).

Ahead of those matches, Bijol will have a choice to make on the squad number that he will wear. Here's a look at the options available to him at Elland Road.
