Leeds United are 'in the picture' to bring Douglas Luiz back to the Premier League after a miserable season at Juventus, it has been claimed.
The Brazilian, 27, who joined the Serie A club from Aston Villa for £42.7 million last summer, started just three league matches for Juve in 2024/25 and is behind ex-Leeds loanee Weston McKennie in the pecking order.
Luiz came on at half-time during their 5-0 win against Al Ain at the Club World Cup on Wednesday but is deemed surplus to requirements and is expected to be sold in this transfer window.
According to Tuttosport, former Manchester City midfielder Luiz is on Leeds' transfer list and Juventus want £34m to sanction his departure. However, the Whites are not keen on signing him for that figure and Juve could instead offer a loan with an obligation to buy for £25.6m next summer.
Elsewhere, Leeds have identified Lecce's Nikola Krstovic as a target to strengthen their attack.
According to Sky Italia, the Whites have made an 'approach' to sign the 25-year-old Montenegro international, who scored 12 times in 38 appearances in Serie A during the 2024/25 season.
It's added that Leeds' offer is 'important' and the fee is close to Lecce's £29.9m plus bonuses asking price. If Lecce were to sell the frontman, they plan to replace him with Basel's Kevin Carlos.
The Whites are waiting to see if Krstovic will decide to join them or opt to wait for a top Serie A club. At this stage, Sky report that there has been no concrete interest from another Italian team.
Fulham have rejected a stunning £26m plus £6m add-ons bid from Leeds for Rodrigo Muniz. Daniel Farke's side want a new centre forward and made an offer for Muniz, but the Cottagers turned down the proposal and see him as one of the club's most valuable assets.
Muniz, 24, scored 11 goals in 36 appearances for Fulham last season, having hit double figures for the first time in career during the 2023/24 campaign. He has battled Raul Jimenez for the starting striker berth across the last two years, following Aleksandar Mitrovic's move to Saudi Arabia.
