Leeds United will face Everton in their Premier League curtain-raiser on Monday, August 18. The Whites discovered their fixtures for the 2025/26 season on Wednesday and it has been revealed that Daniel Farke's side host the Toffees first up, before matches against Arsenal and Newcastle United to end the first month.

Before that, there is work to be done in the summer transfer window. Leeds have made one first-team addition so far in the form of Lukas Nmecha on a free transfer from Wolfsburg. More are set to follow, with Slovenian centre-back Jaka Bijol closing in on a £19million move from Udinese.

Elsewhere, Leeds are in the market for a midfielder. Emiliano Buendia and Habib Diarra have both been linked with a move to Elland Road, as Daniel Farke tries to strengthen his squad.

With this in mind, LEEDS LIVE has taken a look at the latest transfer news from West Yorkshire.

Samake interest

Leeds United are 'in the mix' to sign Stade Rennais' Wilson Samake this summer, according to Africa Foot. The 21-year-old hasn't made his first-team debut for the club but enjoyed a loan spell at LB Chateauroux during the 2024/25 season.

Samake was part of the Mali squad at last month's Toulon tournament in France and his performances have caught several clubs' attention, including Leeds. The Whites have followed Samake's progress and are preparing a bid in the region of £850,000.

LEEDS LIVE says: It's clear that if Wilson Samake signed, he would act as a support act to start. The youngster hasn't even played a single minute of first-team football for Rennes so far, and therefore it would be a risk to bring him in. But for less than £1m and other teams interested, it could be a risk that pays off.

Kilicsoy latest

Leeds United are considering a move for 19-year-old winger Semih Kilicsoy as Daniel Farke looks to strengthen his attacking options this summer, it has been claimed.

The Besiktas starlet enjoyed a breakout season, making 46 appearances and playing a key role in helping the Turkish club secure European football. Kilicsoy has been working under former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during his stint at the club.

Turkish outlet A Spor has reported: "Whether Leeds United will make an official offer for Semih Kilicsoy will become clear in the coming days."

LEEDS LIVE says: Another young player, this time in the form of Semih Kilicsoy, Leeds could do much worse by firming up a move for the teenager. Yes, he scored just four goals and added six assists in 46 matches for the Turkish club last season, but he was in and out of the starting XI and could have contributed more if he had greater minutes. Nevertheless, Kilicsoy is a top talent and Leeds would benefit from having him in their team.
