Boca’s fanbase has already become one of the standout stories of the Club World Cup, with FIFA president Gianni Infantino praising their electric presence in Miami. Bayern star Harry Kane acknowledged the challenge Boca’s fans will present, likening the environment to playing a road match.
“It’s going to be loud, it’ll feel like an away game for us, I imagine. Their fans are passionate and will be cheering for their team to win the game. I’m looking forward to the atmosphere. Sometimes the best feeling is playing in a stadium where everyone is rooting against you. We have to be ready for anything. I know there will be Bayern fans as well, and they’ll make their voices heard,” Kane told reporters Thursday.

The England international also offered further thoughts on Boca’s ability to feed off their supporters’ energy: “Boca fans are obviously loud, very passionate. I didn’t watch the (Benfica) match, but we’ve studied them in our preparation. Part of their game is feeding off the energy from the fans and using it as motivation. From what I’ve seen, their supporters will try to make it as difficult as possible for us, and it’ll be up to us to handle that.”
