More than 2,000 visitors at Dé Appeldag

A beautiful sunny day, a new event location, and a great turnout- those were the key ingredients of Dé Appeldag 2025 in a nutshell. More than 2,000 visitors and over 125 exhibitors gathered at Van Haaften Fruit in Wadenoijen on Thursday for this key meeting place of the top fruit sector.

The central theme of this edition was Fruitteelt 2030, with a focus on innovations, climate challenges, regulations, and future-proof cultivation methods. Visitors took part in tours highlighting technological developments in orchards, precision fruit growing, digitalisation, and alternative crop protection. Demonstrations featured labor-saving techniques, AI solutions, GPS, and robot-controlled machines, all aimed at more efficient and sustainable cultivation.

The business market, with representation from more than 125 exhibitors from across the sector, drew considerable attention. Once again, Dé Appeldag 2025 proved its value as a knowledge-sharing event and networking platform for the Dutch top fruit sector, organised by Delphy and NFO in collaboration with Van Haaften Fruit and sponsors HSS, AgXeed, and Vivid Machines.
