With the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy just a few days away, Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne has opened up on India's current state of mind.
"I'm sure if you spoke to them now, if you spoke to RCB and to MI, I'm sure that they were interested (in signing MS Dhoni)," Richard Madley said during an exclusive interview with CricTracker.
The first-ever Indian Premier League (IPL) auctioneer, Richard Madley, recalled the moment when MS Dhoni's name came up in the inaugural auction on February 20, 2008.
"Your best spinner must play. In Test cricket, play specialists. Also, against the number of left-handers in the Australian line-up, Ashwin is certain to have an impact," said Ganguly.
The Indian team has prioritized giving their players, a good time in the middle during their practice sessions in Perth to prepare for Australian conditions for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
