Residents of Marlow in Buckinghamshire fear new Wetherspoon pub 'The Grand Assembly' could attract unruly drinkers when it opens on September 24 on the site of an M&Co clothing store.
The pub giant, which has boozers across Birmingham and throughout the rest of the West Midlands to boot, has cut breakfast prices by more than 30 per cent.
The discounts will be launched to mark "Tax Equality Day" which is a promotion the pub chain uses to try and push a permanent cut to VAT for hospitality venues
The popular pub chain is offering customers a 7.5 per cent reduction to celebrate Tax Equality Day, the pub giant - which is owned by Sir Tim Martin - has confirmed.
