The Committee Stage of my Bill that will mean Councillors will have to formally approve in Full Council new appointments of Local Government staff on £100k or more.

I have recently joined the European Scrutiny Committee in Parliament - and this week we were asking the Foreign Secretary about a deal with Spain about the border.

This has affected people in #Peterborough - from all sorts of backgrounds and experiences. I have listened to stories - and one of the first constituency meetings I had as our MP was with an affected constituent.

Made a constructive response to the bus news for Peterborough, Eye and Thorney.

Our campaign gathered hundreds of signatures and saw mountains of correspondence between our Cambridgeshire Mayor and my office.

It was excellent meeting with residents and councillors from the village to discuss the consultation on reserved matters - relating to the Eyebury Road development.

Championing Peterborough again today in Parliament.
