The Imo Economic Summit, a two-day event, started on December 4 and will end on Friday.

The former prime minister, who led the UK and the Conservative Party from 2019 to 2022, said that while Imo State has a promising future, Nigeria’s best days are still ahead.

“I want you to know that when I decided to come to Owerri, I read some things, and there were people saying, ‘There may be some security problems in Nigeria.’ Have you heard that? And I said, ‘Well, I am going to go anyway.’
