Meta is grappling with a widespread outage affecting its major platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Threads, and Messenger.

Users of Facebook and Instagram were unable to reach those apps or experienced slow or unresponsive posting Wednesday afternoon.

Frustrated users bombarded X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday evening to report the global outage of the three apps.

If you're getting an error when logging into or using Meta's apps, you're not alone, as thousands of users have reported service outages in the US.

Several applications across the Meta Platforms Inc (NASDAQ:META) family of products began experiencing problems on Wednesday. Meta is aware of the issue, but several apps were still down at the time of writing.
